The vacancy Your typical day might start with a site visit to inspect the progress of external cladding remediation, ensuring that work is being carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022. Next, you could be leading a project team meeting, where you'll provide clear direction and motivate your team to meet project deadlines. Later, you might find yourself collaborating with finance colleagues to review the budget for a high-priority scheme, ensuring that all financials are in line and exploring opportunities for grant funding to support the work. As a Fire Remediation Manager, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring our buildings are safe and compliant, playing a crucial role in managing fire safety projects from start to finish. You'll lead your project teams with strong, inspiring leadership, driving the delivery of remediation works within budget and on schedule. Your work will help ensure that our customers feel safe in their homes and are not affected when they wish to staircase, mortgage, or sell their property. You're someone who enjoys leading and motivating others, with a knack for problem-solving and an eye for detail. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, building strong relationships across Peabody to ensure our fire remediation projects meet the highest standards. While much of your work will involve being on-site to oversee progress and manage risks, you'll also have the flexibility to work remotely when focused on planning and strategic decision-making. Your role will encompass everything from ensuring compliance with the latest fire safety legislation to managing the end-to-end process of fire remediation projects.
