What we’re looking for: Do you have excellent fire risk assessment skills and a demonstrable track record of achieving effective and pragmatic assessments? Do you have a NEBOSH fire qualification? Do you have demonstrable analytical skills? Are you able to work independently, exercising good initiative and judgement; with an attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously? Are you able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and targets? If so, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Fire Risk Assessor on a Permanent basis. Please note this role will cover North and West London. A bit about the role: As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will ensure the safety of residents and visitors in our buildings by carrying out fire risk assessments, and by working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure our customers’ needs are met and the departmental/team/organisational objectives are achieved. Some of the key results for the role include: Carrying out Fire Risk Assessments (FRA’s) on nominated properties and producing timely reports whilst managing workload. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to support our customers and to assess clients’ needs. Delivering FRA reports promptly and correctly to the Peabody management system to enable the Fire Safety Team (FST) to create actions plans and the Delivery Teams to issue work efficiently Ensuring fire risk assessment software is used, where appropriate, and supporting the drive to use this for as many FRA’s as possible Respond to enquiries from internal and external customers or re-direct as appropriate and ensuring a timely and customer focused response is provided.
