The vacancy A typical day as a Fire Safety Administrator might start with managing the Fire Safety Works email inbox, ensuring customers receive timely responses to their fire safety enquiries. After that, you could be providing full administrative support to the Fire Safety team by handling phone queries, managing correspondence, and assisting with the distribution of newsletters and leaflets. Later, you may be raising invoices and ordering services to support residents temporarily moving homes during major fire safety works. As a Fire Safety Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our Fire Safety Remediation Programme, playing a key role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our residents. Your role is crucial in maintaining excellent communication with both residents and internal teams, ensuring fire safety-related enquiries are addressed promptly. You'll also assist with re-housing requirements, supporting residents throughout major fire safety works and helping them with the practical aspects of moving. You're a highly organised person who thrives in a busy environment. You'll enjoy collaborating with other teams and building strong relationships to ensure residents' fire safety needs are met. You will be in the office for up to 2 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days, supporting your team from home and on site when necessary. Your role covers everything from monitoring fire safety email enquiries to assisting with re-housing and liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. To be successful in this role, you are: Committed to delivering first-class customer service. Resilient with a positive, flexible, and can-do attitude. Highly organised, able to manage a diverse workload and prioritise tasks effectively. Experienced in a customer-facing role, ideally within a housing or fire safety-related environment. Skilled in using IT systems, particularly MS Excel, to support administrative tasks effectively.
