The department operates a standards-based approach to service delivery with defined standing operating procedures and quality standards. Following the Trust's review of routine working hours, a more flexible on-site presence will be offered in exchange for flexible working arrangements. This includes exploring options such as teleradiology and home working.
Salary
£109,725 per annum
About the Role
The successful applicant will actively participate in maintaining high standards within the department. Responsibilities include providing sessional hotseat cover with an SpR for emergency CT scanning, reporting weekly outpatient CT lists, and participating in the consultant on-call rota (1:15 - 1:20). The post-holder will audit their own and departmental practice and take part in accreditation activities including External Quality Assurance Schemes. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is supported with time and financial resources to meet the Royal College of Radiologists' annual requirements. Experience
Experience in radiology with the ability to provide emergency CT scanning cover and outpatient reporting is required. Familiarity with departmental audit and quality assurance processes is essential.

Qualifications
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise and appropriate specialist registration in Radiology. Commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with Royal College of Radiologists requirements.
