About the Role
As a Floristry Tutor within Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to adult learners across Westminster. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging resources on our Level 1 Foundation in Floristry courses, inspiring and challenging learners to reach their full potential. Your duties will include tracking learner progress, providing advice and guidance through one-to-ones and tutorials, carrying out marking and assessments, and proactively identifying opportunities for learner progression. This role offers the chance to contribute to a dynamic and growing Creative Industries department, supporting adult learners (19+) from diverse backgrounds to develop new skills and achieve their goals. You will ensure learners are motivated, supported, and challenged to complete their work on time and excel in their achievements.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience teaching adults on accredited courses, ideally within floristry or a related creative industry. Demonstrated ability to engage, inspire and motivate learners of mixed abilities and diverse backgrounds.

You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are enthusiastic about supporting adult learners to develop new skills, progress, and achieve their goals. Qualifications
A recognised teaching qualification at Level 3 or above. Current industry knowledge or practice in floristry is essential. Commitment to ongoing professional development and working within a dynamic, community-focused educational environment.
