We’re looking for General Assistants to join our catering team in our brand-new cafe - The Leaky Cauldron. Situated within a prestigious retail space The Harry Potter Shop, Oxford Street, London. What you’ll do:
- Enthusiastically deliver the highest customer service standards
- Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
- Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation, and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
- Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order
- Take payment and keep financial records as required
- Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
- Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
- Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/vending machines preparation and public areas
- Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during the course of the work
- Perform daily paper/computer work assigned

Experience
Keen interest in food and customer service. Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

About you
Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and organisation. Enthusiastic and motivated to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
