About the Role
You will be responsible for facilitating short coverage requirements on behalf of our Prime Finance client base through securities lending and derivative financing markets. The optimized use of these products is fundamental to maximizing profitability within the firm’s financial resource constraints. J.P. Morgan's Prime Brokerage is a collaborative and complex business serving hedge fund clients by providing a full spectrum of integrated capabilities, backed by the strength and resources of a leading global bank. The business offers multiple options for financing, clearing, portfolio servicing, and event management across multiple asset classes with customized solutions for many clients.

Key responsibilities include securities finance trading across Equity and Fixed Income products in global markets, participating in risk management of the prime business including FX, cross-currency basis, interest rate, and dividend risks, managing financial resources such as balance sheet, capital, and liquidity, minimizing inefficiencies through book management, producing market commentaries, and evolving existing processes and workflows through automation.

Experience
Prime Brokerage industry expertise with knowledge of the market, cash and synthetic financing landscape. Experience in Middle Office or Product Control is highly valued.
