About the Role
Join our GBP Rates desk in London, where you will work alongside experienced traders to make markets, manage risk, and deliver outstanding results across the Sterling franchise. As an Associate in GBP Rates Trading within our London team, you will develop your expertise in securities and interest rate pricing while collaborating with talented professionals across Sales, Operations, Technology, and Finance. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, progress the business, and grow within a dynamic and supportive team culture. You will work closely with experienced traders to make markets and manage risk, collaborate with Sales to meet client needs, and partner with Operations, Technology, and Finance to drive business progress while maintaining a strong focus on the control agenda. Your analytical skills and market insight will be highly valued as you react quickly to changing market environments and support team objectives.

Experience
Proven experience in a trading role with strong analytical skills and a positive approach to work. Experience within a Sterling or rates trading environment is preferred. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with coding experience. Proficiency in Excel is required. This role involves UK regulated activity; therefore, the successful candidate must meet UK regulatory requirements regarding fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence as assessed by the Firm and, where appropriate, be approved by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
