Ferrovial Construction UK&I is the UK-based engineering and construction arm of the Ferrovial Group, the largest private transport infrastructure operator globally by capital invested. With over 60 years’ experience and presence in 15 countries, we design and construct some of the UK and Ireland’s most high-profile transport infrastructure projects. We deliver complex major projects in-house, drawing on international expertise and full asset lifecycle capability, providing cost-effective, value-added, and sustainable solutions.
The Graduate Electrical Engineer role is part of a 2-year development programme designed to build your personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and collaborate with site teams on major UK infrastructure projects. You will contribute to electrical systems development, policy creation, inspection procedures, and evaluation tools for M&E matters.
Key responsibilities include supporting health and safety compliance, assisting with project budget and schedule adherence, working with procurement teams, and supporting project management activities including team resourcing and performance management. You will adopt and promote Ferrovial’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, Collaboration, Integrity, and Respect, taking ownership of your work and ensuring safe working practices on site.

You will also have opportunities to participate in charity volunteering and innovation projects.
The position is scheduled to start by September 2026, with flexibility for earlier start dates.
Experience
Graduates with a degree or masters in Engineering (all disciplines considered). Experience in engineering or construction is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and possession of a CSCS card are advantageous.

Qualifications
Degree or Masters in Engineering (all disciplines considered). Must have the right to work in the UK by the start of employment and for the duration of the Graduate Programme.
