Ferrovial Construction UK&I is the UK-based engineering and construction arm of the Ferrovial Group, the largest private transport infrastructure operator globally by capital invested. With over 60 years’ experience and a presence in 15 countries, we design and construct some of the UK and Ireland’s most high-profile transport infrastructure projects. We deliver complex major projects in-house, drawing on international expertise and full asset lifecycle capability.

The BIM Graduate role is based within the Quality and Design Department and forms part of a 2-year graduate development programme designed to develop personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended learning approach. You will be encouraged to achieve your maximum potential while receiving support and guidance. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to project delivery.

Key Accountabilities include utilising digital systems and Common Data Environments (CDE), working with industry-standard software such as Dalux and Procore, modifying 2D models and developing 3D modelling skills, understanding BIM documentation (BEPs, MIDPs, EIRs), preparing clear reports, gaining contract knowledge (NEC, JCT), supporting project deliverable reviews, and managing project documentation.

Experience
Graduates with a degree or master’s in BIM, Architecture, Architectural or Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Surveying, or Construction Management. No prior professional experience required but a motivated and proactive approach to learning is essential.

Qualifications
Degree or master’s in relevant fields as listed above.
Essential: Must have the right to work in the UK at the start and throughout the graduate programme.

Desirable Technical Skills
Knowledge of construction, materials, and design.
Software proficiency in one or more of the following: Office 365, iTWIN, BIC, ProjectWise / Bentley, Bentley Open Roads, Open Buildings, MicroStation, Autodesk Forma, Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Naviswork, Civil 3D or similar.
