Location
Initially based at HS2’s offices in Euston, London, with occasional travel to project offices and sites across Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. The role is expected to transition to a predominantly site-based position in Buckinghamshire and/or Northamptonshire within 18 to 24 months.

Hours
Full time, standard working hours with flexibility as required to meet project demands.

About the Role
The Principal Contractor Integration Manager will act as the focal point for all Principal Contractor, Lead Contractor and Lead Integrator obligations, ensuring these responsibilities are clearly understood, coordinated and translated into an effective and deliverable operating model. Working within the FBRS Track Central team, you will lead engagement with HS2 and other Rail Systems Contractors to define and manage contractual obligations, service requirements, programme interfaces and delivery dependencies. You will work across multiple stakeholders to ensure obligations are efficiently planned and delivered while identifying opportunities to maximise value, improve operational efficiency and optimise the use of shared facilities, services and resources. This role plays a key part in supporting effective integration and collaboration across the wider HS2 railway systems programme.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing contractual and operational obligations, risks and opportunities
- Acting as primary contact for Principal Contractor services and obligations
- Coordinating interfaces related to access, logistics, facilities, possessions, testing and shared services
- Establishing demand and service planning for shared resources
- Assessing programme and scope impacts of Rail Systems Contractor requirements
- Identifying and promoting value and optimisation opportunities across stakeholders

Requirements

Experience
- Significant experience managing interfaces between multiple contractors, clients and stakeholders within complex infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Strong commercial awareness with understanding of programme, cost and project delivery impacts.
- Proven ability to lead workshops, challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of operating at all organisational levels.

About you
- Experienced Senior Agent, Project Manager or similar professional with expertise in major infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
- Collaborative and proactive with a focus on integration and optimisation.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and complex contractual environments.

Qualifications
- Relevant professional qualifications or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.

Desirable
- Rail industry experience.
- Alliance or Joint Venture experience.
- Experience in logistics, possessions, access or operational readiness.
