We are currently seeking a part-time Management Accountant to join the Group Financial Control team, supporting our Management Reporting team in delivering high-quality and timely performance information. This role is crucial to ensure effective decision-making at the senior level of the organisation As a Management Accountant, you will be involved in the month-end reporting process, producing insightful, high-quality reports that help the business make informed decisions. With a particular focus on delivering accurate and timely management reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and maintaining high data quality standards. You’ll actively provide analysis of variances to budgets and forecasts, helping to identify risks and opportunities within the business. You’re an excellent communicator with a passion for uncovering the root causes of financial variances and the ability to focus on both details and the bigger picture. You enjoy developing and improving reporting using visualisation tools. You’re first rate at managing internal and external stakeholders in order to meet month-end objectives, with a desire to implement good financial practices and controls. You’ll need to be in the office for 1 day per week and the remaining time you’ll be able to work remotely. Candidates should have experience preparing management accounts, ideally with experience in the charity sector, registered social landlords, or community benefit societies. You should have strong customer service skills, advanced knowledge of Excel, experience with finance systems, data visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, and ideally knowledge of Sun Systems. A CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent with post-qualification experience is required.
