About the Role
This Assistant Headteacher role combines the responsibilities of SENDCo at our vibrant and diverse two-form entry primary school with being the phase leader for our outstanding Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will play a pivotal role in leading inclusion and supporting the development and progress of children with special educational needs and disabilities, while also driving excellence in EYFS provision. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic school community and make a significant impact on children’s learning and wellbeing.

Experience
Proven experience in a leadership role within primary education, ideally including SEND coordination and EYFS phase leadership. Demonstrable success in managing inclusion and supporting diverse learner needs.

Committed to promoting inclusion and equity in education. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate staff and pupils. Passionate about early years education and special educational needs provision.

Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Relevant leadership qualifications and SENDCo accreditation are highly desirable.
