Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Head of Resident Engagement & Compliance (Fire Safety) on a Permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.
A bit about the role:
As a Head of Resident Engagement & Compliance (Fire Safety), you will lead on delivery of the Fire Remediation Compliance function ensuring compliance with all regulatory/statutory and internal governance/policy requirements. Delivery of the wider fire remediation strategic and operational plan as part of the SMT to drive continuous improvement culture.
The role requires a strategic thinker, an influential communicator and compassionate leader with a pivotal role in delivery of high quality crossover fire remediation and customer service programme ensuring our legal obligation to provide safe homes to all residents is maintained.
To ensure customer engagement function is delivered in line with The Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act Regulations 2022, Leaseholder Protections Regulations 2022 (amended 2023), Grant Funding Schemes & Code of Practice for the Remediation of Residential Buildings.
With the aim to ensure that the all legislation is managed as a single function, this will ensure uniformity across the group and ensure that general inquires and assurance requested by all residents & LHs are also centrally managed.
Some of the key results for the role include:
Develop and lead high performing team use your leaderships skills and experience to coach for performance through change and foster a culture of continual learning whilst putting the residents at the heart of the service.
Responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the delivery team of 12, reviewing, monitoring, and improving the targets and activities carried out thereby ensuring that business objectives are met.
Improve Residents’ experiences where remediation works are expected or ongoing through better planning and considerate project management.
Provide expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to fire remediation legal compliance management and have an understanding of legislation, case law and best practice guidance.
Work collaboratively with the local regions to support the delivery of services to Freeholders, Superior Landlords, Intermediate landlords and Residents of all tenures.
A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required
