About the Role
As Corporate Parents to our Looked After Children and Young People, the London Borough of Havering is responsible for ensuring that all their health needs and records are accurately maintained. This role is key to developing and maintaining the highest standard of data recording for Children’s Health Data in line with local and national legislation. You will work closely with health colleagues and Children’s Services teams to ensure records and systems are updated within statutory timeframes. This position supports corporate parenting teams by providing essential administrative and data management functions to promote the best outcomes for children in our care.
Experience
- Extensive experience as an administrator, preferably within Children’s Services
- Experience working within Children’s Social Care and health environments
- Experience in clinical data collection and managing sensitive information
- Proven ability to analyse data and ensure compliance with local and national standards
- Experience producing reports and performance data for management
- Experience developing and managing systems for tracking, monitoring activity and outcomes
- Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, results-focused environment
- Experience of effective partnership and multi-agency working
- Experience communicating with the public and external agencies across various mediums
- Knowledge of Local Authority statutory procedures regarding Child Protection and relevant legal frameworks
About you
You will be organised with excellent ICT skills, able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, and committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of looked after children and young people. You will have a proven background in administrative roles that support corporate parenting teams and demonstrate a strong ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
Qualifications
