About the Role
As a Class 1 HGV Driver, you will be an ambassador for Thames Water on the road, upholding our values and delivering first-class customer service. You will be part of the Logistics Delivery team operating a fleet of Potable Water Tankers to support both reactive and planned work, ensuring the essential delivery of water to our customers.

In this role, you will learn to take water samples before loading and discharging them into hydrants or reservoirs. You will be expected to follow processes and procedures carefully and drive both HGV Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles, including manual and automatic gearboxes, as well as various support vehicles such as Welfare vans.

Experience
Proven experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver is required.

About you
Happy to work on a rotational shift pattern including days and nights.
Hold no more than 6 penalty points and no DR or IN convictions on your licence.
Demonstrate a clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
Have a working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.

Qualifications
A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card are essential.
