About the Role
Newham CAMHS is a large and vibrant specialist child and adolescent mental health service known for its innovation and flexibility in addressing the complex mental health needs of children, young people, and families in Newham. Centrally located on one site in Plaistow, the service offers an extensive and growing range of multidisciplinary specialist teams including the Emotional & Behavioural Teams, Adolescent Mental Health Team, Paediatric Liaison Team, Neurodevelopmental Team, Children in Care Pathway, and the Well Being in Newham Schools Team. The service collaborates weekly with community partners and social care as part of the Newham Multi Agency Collective. Practitioners also work in Youth Zones and are part of the Vanguard Team, a specialist community psychology-led service supporting young people up to 25 years old who are impacted by or at risk of youth violence. The service has a broad spectrum of disciplines and a strong tradition of effective multidisciplinary and interagency working, outreach, and consultation.

Experience
Experience working within child and adolescent mental health services or related multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.
