As a Chef de Partie, you will prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head or sous chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times. You will oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station, maintain your designated area with supplies, and ensure cleanliness in line with policies and procedures. Maintaining high quality standards for all dishes, including presentation and taste, is essential. You will collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring equipment is in good working order, and communicate effectively with all team members to support colleagues where necessary.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working in a hospitality environment, fine dining experience is essential.

Passionate about culinary arts with a strong desire to create masterful dishes that delight the senses. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. Works according to BaxterStorey core values.

Qualifications
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
