As a Hospitality Sous Chef, you will collaborate with our culinary team to craft flavourful dishes that nourish both body and mind. You will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service, ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes meet company standards and client expectations. You will supervise and train kitchen staff, assist in menu planning and development, oversee stock control and ordering, and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution is preferred.

You are passionate about food and service with bags of enthusiasm.
You have excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills.
You are fun, enthusiastic, and a team player who enjoys succeeding as part of a team.
You have a flexible approach to work and can multitask efficiently under pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
You are willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications
Culinary degree or relevant certifications from a recognized culinary institute.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
