Join our dynamic team at Jewish Care as the Hospitality Strategic Operations & Change Manager for our Hospitality & Housekeeping service. Collaborate closely with the senior project team to shape the strategic vision and lead change initiatives to achieve key objectives. This role combines culinary expertise with managerial skills to optimise operations, enhance customer experience, and drive financial performance. This post is fixed term for up to 18 months and full time working an average of 36.25 hours Monday to Friday. You will need access to a vehicle for work as the role will be working across multiple sites. What you will be doing: Change Management: Identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and revenue enhancement. Embedding and enhancing the Menu Management system (Indicater) for improved choice and financial performance reporting. Evaluating the benefits of implementing an Epos system for sales information and take necessary steps if deemed necessary. Operational Excellence: Leading and developing the operations team to ensure high standards of guest service and efficiency. Implementing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and KPI’s across the team . Analysing financial data and provide recommendations for revenue growth and cost reduction. Maximising profitability while maintaining high guest satisfaction. Conducting regular Audit inspections within our Kitchens to monitor service and facilities quality. Developing processes to control and monitor stock and waste, aiming for industry-leading levels. Strategic Planning: Working closely with the Head of Food & Beverage to develop and implement strategic plans. Analysing market trends, competitor performance, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats. Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular reports to senior management on key performance metrics and project progress. What you will need: Deep understanding of hospitality best practices and industry trends. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Experience in delivering Change Management across multi sites. Experience of using an Epos system Experience of using a menu management system such as Indicater or Safron Knowledge of relevant food safety and health and safety at work legislation Ability to operate within organisational values. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
