The Creative Industries Department has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Art and Design. This role involves lecturing and potentially course management of Level 1 or Level 3 vocational programmes, as well as teaching across all programmes.

The successful candidate will coordinate the effective delivery of Art and Design across various levels, providing academic guidance for students and creating a curriculum that is engaging, relevant, and coherent, aligned with local and national priorities. You will develop and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge, bringing in industry professionals where possible to enhance curriculum relevance and meet employability and skills needs.

You will support and motivate learners to achieve their individual aspirations and goals, coordinate tracking of learner achievements, and contribute to study programmes aimed at outstanding achievement, retention, and progression.

Experience
Relevant industry experience is welcomed. Experience in lecturing or teaching vocational Art and Design programmes is desirable.

Qualifications
