We are excited to offer a new opportunity for an experienced Careers Adviser within Student Support Services. The successful candidate will provide a high quality, responsive, learner-centered service by developing and delivering impartial careers information, advice, and guidance to support all learners across College campuses. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively advise and guide UCG students, ensuring they receive the support needed to progress in their careers.

Experience
Prior relevant experience in careers guidance is essential, including evidence of promoting equality of opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds.

You will be a professional with strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities, committed to supporting students from varied backgrounds. You must be motivated to provide impartial and learner-centered careers advice and guidance.

Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a relevant degree or an equivalent professional careers-related qualification. A Level 6 careers qualification is required, or a Level 4 Careers Qualification with a willingness to undertake training to achieve a Level 6 qualification. Applicants with a Level 4 qualification will be offered a fixed term contract of 12 months to complete the Level 6 qualification.
QCF Level 6 Diploma in Career Guidance and Development - Career Development Institute (thecdi.net) is preferred.
