The Student Support Officer will be part of the safeguarding team, supporting and assisting Safeguarding Leads to implement and deliver safeguarding measures in full compliance with legislation, regulation, and best practice. You will act as the first point of contact for staff and others, providing advice, guidance, coordinating, and case managing safeguarding concerns.

You will support risk assessments related to safeguarding concerns to ensure student welfare and wellbeing are adequately and appropriately supported. This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, good IT and numeracy skills, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Most importantly, you must be passionate about inspiring and motivating young people.

Requirements

Experience
Experience working with young people or in a safeguarding environment is desirable but not explicitly stated. A passion for working with young people is essential.

Qualifications
