Part Time - 28 hours per week over 4 days from 7am to 3pm, including breaks. This role includes working every other weekend.

About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation, Jewish Care, is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Assistant to join our Hospitality team. This role involves the delivery of Hospitality Services within our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres to excellent standards. You will play a key role in ensuring we deliver an excellent service to our service users, creating an inviting and pleasant environment. Your responsibilities will include delivering housekeeping activities to the highest standard, ensuring cleanliness levels are maintained, supporting the wider hospitality teams with events and festivals, providing support with laundry duties, ensuring Infection Control procedures are followed, inspecting and reporting on products and consumables, and ensuring waste is disposed of in accordance with the Waste Disposal Policy.

Experience
Previous experience working within a housekeeping environment, both independently and within a team.

Commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, understanding the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people.

Qualifications
COSHH training and Current Accredited Infection Control Certificate or willingness to be trained. Cleaning experience in a similar environment is preferred.
