Housing Advice and Early Intervention Officer


Location
Primarily based at Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU. The role operates a hybrid working approach requiring regular work both in the office and from home.
Hours
Full time, standard working hours (details to be confirmed during recruitment process).
Salary
£37,509 - £38,637 per annum (Scale 6). All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role unless matching current salary with evidential proof.
About the Role
As a Housing Advice and Early Intervention Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking support with housing and complex needs, particularly those with complex vulnerabilities. You will provide a person-centred service offering expert advice, guidance, and practical support to help residents make informed decisions about their housing options. Your responsibilities include conducting holistic assessments, making referrals, and aiming to prevent homelessness and reduce reliance on crisis services. Administrative tasks are also key to ensuring smooth service delivery. Your role ensures clients receive the right support every step of the way.
