As a Resolution & Recovery Planning Associate in the International CIB Recovery & Resolution Team, you will drive the delivery of key regulatory submissions and initiatives across global regions. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business and functional areas to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables. Your responsibilities include assessing new regulatory requirements, leading working group sessions, and providing critical updates to senior management. You will help maintain strong controls and best practices, supporting the team's commitment to excellence and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to grow your platform and profile as the Resolution & Recovery agenda evolves.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the CIB components of the Firm's Recovery & Resolution Planning agenda
- Deliver key CIB components of Firmwide and local Resolution & Recovery Plans, collaborating with stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements
- Formulate responses to local regulatory requests related to Resolution and Recovery planning
- Coordinate and lead meetings with stakeholders to advance the CIB R&R agenda
- Collaborate with team members to align intersecting agendas and objectives
- Record detailed minutes for key working group meetings, including attendees, topics, status updates, and action items
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, presenting materials to senior management through steering committees and forums
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and developing effective solutions
- Uphold high standards and best practices across all initiatives
- Respond to ad hoc information requests from local and US regulators
Experience
- Significant program management experience in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively under aggressive targets
- Experience influencing stakeholders and communicating effectively with senior management
- Strong issue management and resolution skills
- Background in Product Control, Legal Entity Control, Business Management, or CIB Finance Project Management is preferred
- Proficiency in handling and analyzing large datasets, with experience in tools such as Alteryx, SQL, or Tableau is advantageous
- Familiarity with the finance industry's regulatory environment, particularly Resolution & Recovery, is beneficial
