As an M&A Analyst within our team, you will play a crucial role in the origination and execution of public and private mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across all industry sectors. You will collaborate with team members and colleagues from various industry, coverage, and product teams in other regions and countries. This role offers hands-on experience, continuous mentoring, feedback, and numerous opportunities for professional development.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing highly bespoke, sophisticated M&A processes working closely with clients and internal teams; supporting the origination of new M&A business focusing on Central & Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey and Central Asia; driving M&A transactions from launch to closing, including preparation, investor outreach, deal structuring and overall transaction management; developing financial analyses and valuation models to help clients evaluate investment opportunities, potential capital structures or alternative monetisation paths; working closely with management teams to develop comprehensive transaction materials including business plans, performance analyses, due diligence reports and marketing materials; supporting final negotiations and driving deals to completion; designing, organising and managing M&A processes; and supporting the management of the bank's regional franchise.

This role involves regulated activity and the successful candidate will be subject to regulatory requirements regarding fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence, including approval by relevant regulatory authorities where appropriate.

Requirements

Experience
Relevant full-time investment banking experience, particularly in M&A and Corporate Finance.

About you
Strong interest in and understanding of M&A processes and the lifecycle of M&A transactions. Desire to achieve optimal transaction outcomes and create value for clients. Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients, advisors and key stakeholders. Willingness to work across sectors and gain exposure to diverse M&A transactions including sell-sides, buy-sides, carve-outs, and restructurings. Ability to take ownership across transactions with exposure to industry, country, and product teams. Initiative to support multiple transactions in parallel and manage time effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

Qualifications
Proficient technical ability and overall corporate finance proficiency, including strong modelling skills (LBO, DCF, DDM) and knowledge of broader investment banking products. Ability to meet regulatory requirements for regulated activity as assessed by the firm and relevant authorities.
