We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our team. This is a fantastic chance for a passionate chef to take the next step in their culinary career and be part of a business that is obsessed about food and developing talent.
Your key responsibilities will include preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times. You will oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station, maintain your designated area with supplies, and ensure cleanliness in line with policies and procedures. Maintaining high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste is considered at all times, will be essential.
Team collaboration is vital; you will communicate positively and effectively with all team members and assist or support colleagues where necessary. Coaching junior chefs to support their development will also be part of your role. You will collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including your designated area and ensuring equipment is in good working order, will be expected.

Experience
Proven experience working as a Junior Sous Chef or in a similar role.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
