About the Role
Join Clifford Chance’s global Knowledge and Training (K&T) function as a Knowledge Lawyer supporting our global fintech practice, focusing on UK and EU regulatory developments. Clifford Chance is a leading global law firm known for client service excellence, innovation, and deep sector expertise. The K&T function drives quality, consistency, efficiency, and innovation across the firm by leveraging knowledge and AI tools to enhance legal work. Our fintech practice is globally recognised, advising on cutting-edge transactions involving distributed ledger technology, cryptoassets, payments solutions, and AI. You will work closely with the Financial Regulation team within the Capital Markets Global Product Group, collaborating with Knowledge Lawyers, information specialists, and business professionals globally. Your role includes delivering practical knowhow and advice to lawyers, supporting client-facing materials, thought leadership, policy work, business development, training, and innovation projects involving AI and legal technology. You will also engage with external stakeholders such as regulators, trade bodies, and clients, contributing to consultation responses and industry working groups. This role offers the opportunity to shape fintech knowledge strategy, support internal and client training, and contribute to the firm’s transformation initiatives.

Experience
Senior lawyer or Knowledge Lawyer/Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) with fintech and digital assets regulatory expertise. Proven ability to keep abreast of fast-evolving legal developments in fintech. Experience or strong interest in knowledge management and legal training is advantageous. Prior involvement with legal technology, AI, and innovation is beneficial.
