We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated Label Operations Coordinator to support the Music team. You will be responsible for the operational aspects of our music releases, managing music assets and metadata, optimising workflows, and ensuring all deadlines are met. You will actively seek ways to utilise modern tools and automated workflows to reduce human error and scale label operations safely.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage release schedules and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of albums, EPs, and singles
- Oversee delivery of new music assets and lead quality control of metadata in collaboration with the publishing team
- Develop and implement processes to optimise workflow between music production and label operations teams
- Maintain accurate metadata across Moonbug's sound recording catalogue, updating internal systems and DSP platforms
- Support creative and strategic planning of releases to optimise content on DSPs
- Manage and prioritise multiple high-level projects independently to meet deadlines
- Track copyright usage across digital platforms, monitor for unauthorised use, and liaise with legal teams to make claims
- Ensure Moonbug music content is fingerprinted, claimed, and monetised on social media platforms

Experience
- Proven experience within a record label or music distribution company
- Experience managing music release schedules and coordinating asset delivery
- In-depth knowledge of music metadata standards and best practices
- Comfortable working with and manipulating large datasets, identifying patterns, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining data quality at scale
- Confident navigating DSP backend systems, content management systems, and artist portals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and G Suite
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
- A demonstrable passion for music and the entertainment industry
- Understanding of current industry trends

Qualifications
- Curiosity or hands-on experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or basic data pipelines to optimise operational tasks is desirable
- Experience with data analysis and reporting, including tracking performance metrics
- Understanding of DSP analytics and performance metrics to identify streaming anomalies, track content trends, and delivery gaps
- Working understanding of music contracts and licensing is advantageous
