Description
Practice autonomously as an ANP using collaborative and independent judgement to assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement, manage, and evaluate clinical nursing and medical care in the management of patients. Take responsibility for the management of patients within own caseload and supervision/development of junior members of the multi-professional team. Identify the need for appropriate diagnostic tests and interpret the results. To share knowledge and expertise, acting as an expert resource to others across primary and secondary care as appropriate. Lead on specific audit cycles to enhance the quality of clinical nursing and medical practice. Promote and lead nursing research within the Sarcoma service. Lead on the development of specific guidelines, protocols and standards. Contribute to multidisciplinary, national and international team guidelines.
