About the Role
Are you an experienced advice professional who enjoys supporting others to do their best work? Mencap's Learning Disability Helpline (England) is seeking a Learning Disability Caseworker Team Manager to lead and support a team providing high-quality, complex advice across safeguarding, health, community care, benefits, housing, and SEND. This role involves managing caseworkers delivering advice remotely and within community settings across England. You will oversee complex casework, ensure safeguarding standards, and support a remote team with varied working styles. The role offers flexibility with primarily home-based working and occasional travel to Mencap sites and events. As part of a growing organisation, your duties may evolve to meet changing needs. Requirements

Experience
- Professional experience delivering advice in one or more advice settings
- Experience managing complex casework including safeguarding concerns and challenging cases
- Confidence handling complaints and conducting sensitive investigations
- Experience working with people with a learning disability or within education, health, or social care settings
- Proven experience managing people, partnerships, and relationships
- Experience supporting a remote team with varied working styles and levels of experience
- Experience leading on safeguarding for both adults and children
- Ability to interpret data and work confidently with CRM systems
- Confidence using call handling systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft-based software
