About the Role
Are you passionate about education and looking for a fulfilling career? We're seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join our community-focused and supportive team at Lift Bexleyheath. You will help improve the learning and attainment of students while promoting their independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. Key responsibilities include supervising classroom activities, supporting speech and language interventions, and assisting students to access the curriculum, participate in learning, and experience a sense of achievement. You will be a warm and friendly face to students and parents and be flexible to work across any area of the school as required.

Experience
Experience supporting children in any Key Stage. Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with SEND. Positive behaviour management experience.

Enthusiastic and dedicated with a passion for education. Able to promote independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion. Flexible to work across different areas of the school. Warm and friendly with students and parents.

Qualifications
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous; Level 3 preferred. GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or above). Understanding of child development and how children learn. UK right to work (no sponsorship available for this position).
