Based in Sutton Town Centre with excellent transport links in and out of London, our colleagues work closely with residents in the borough and beyond. Our strength lies in the knowledge, experience, and commitment of our team to deliver excellent services to residents. As a landlord organisation, we focus on enabling families and households to be safe in their homes, sustain their tenancy, and lead healthy and rewarding lives.
About the Service and Team

About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for the role of Leasehold Services Officer within the Home Ownership Team. You will work with a friendly and supportive team, responsible for processing Right To Buy applications, preparing solicitor packs for onward sales, responding to solicitor enquiries, and handling other leasehold enquiries via phone and email. We are looking for someone customer-focused and a team player, preferably with experience in leasehold services (not essential).
The ideal candidate will demonstrate skills and behaviours aligned with the role profile, including the ability to work independently using good initiative and judgement, strong written and verbal communication skills, good IT proficiency, and excellent customer care. You will be expected to prioritise workload effectively, manage time well, pay close attention to detail, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and perform well under pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
Our Offer to You
We take pride in delivering our priorities and supporting rewarding careers. We offer a fair pay and reward system, reviewed regularly to reflect responsibilities. We value a good work-life balance and provide key benefits including membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme with employer contributions of 18.4% from April 2025, annual leave of 28 or 33 days plus bank holidays, a Simply Health Cash Plan for dental, optical, consultations and scans, employee benefits such as cycle to work and discount schemes, and an Employee Assistance Programme available 24/7. We invest in your learning and development through e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and opportunities for external training aligned with individual and strategic needs.
Application Process
Please refer to the job profile to ensure you meet the essential criteria before applying. Complete the online application form including a supporting statement addressing how you meet the criteria. The closing date is indicative; early application is advised as the vacancy may close once sufficient applications are received. We anonymise applications to reduce bias and promote diversity, guaranteeing interviews for disabled applicants who meet minimum criteria. Our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible.

We are proud to be a diverse and welcoming organisation, striving to create a workforce that reflects the community we serve. We celebrate and respect differences and encourage applications from underrepresented groups. Sponsorship for work eligibility is considered on a case-by-case basis and subject to eligibility and budget.
