About the Role
As a Legal Assistant at Peabody, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely documentation including minutes, reports, letters, spreadsheets and digital records. You will arrange meetings and appointments, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared and venues organised. Supporting the coordination of legal cases and projects, you will help the team deliver its objectives efficiently and effectively.
You will contribute to a high-performing department providing comprehensive legal support to internal customers across the organisation. Your role is key to ensuring the smooth running of legal operations by providing essential administrative support and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining robust information management systems, managing incoming enquiries, and ensuring all records—from casework to staff development—are stored and retrieved securely and confidentially. You will assist in keeping electronic files up to date, sort and prioritise post, and contribute to specific projects within Governance and Risk as needed.
