About the Role

The Legal Finance and Administration Officer role is a busy and varied position responsible for transaction processing, finance administration, and financial reporting, which are vital for maintaining robust financial controls and efficiency in Legal Services. Located in the Practice Management team, you will report to the Business Manager and work alongside a Legal Finance & Administration Assistant and an Apprentice. This role involves high-level finance and administration tasks within a quality-accredited, award-winning Legal service that prides itself on professionalism and efficiency.
Experience
Experience in a similar Legal or office environment is essential, with a strong background in financial management and processing.
About you
You are a resilient professional with the ability to build successful relationships and communicate effectively across various teams. You can resolve queries and ensure efficient financial processes. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize to meet internal reporting deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail are critical for this role. A good understanding of effective legal practice management service support is required, and Oracle cloud experience is desirable.
Qualifications
You must be either a part-qualified accountant from an IFAC member body (preferably CIPFA) or hold AAT Accounting Technicians Level (NVQ Level 4).
