Do you have an awareness of building services legislation NVQ 3/4 Lift Engineering or BTEC National Lift Engineering? Do you have a full UK driving licence and the use of a vehicle? If so, this role is perfect for you! Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Lift Engineer on a permanent basis. A bit about the role: As a Lift Engineer you will work within a team of Lift Engineers working with the Senior Lift Contracts Manager to deliver the services of lift maintenance and delivery. You will also oversee value of money, and planning for all lift servicing, repairs, and new installations. You will work primarily in the Northwest of London and Home Counties but will be required to cover other areas for leave and workload. Some of the key results for the role include: Day-to-day responsive and major repairs order reviews. Ensure lift maintenance and in service lifts. Liaising with Housing team. To apply professional knowledge in the ordering of fall arrest / lift. services ensuring they represent best value for money. To ensure compliance with Peabody’s standing orders and with any appropriate published departmental standards and procedures. To control all time and costs spent on projects to ensure that these are contained within generally prescribed or separately agreed targets. To prepare any specifications, schedules of work and other contract documentation necessary following accurate diagnosis, to ensure the technically correct and timely progress and completion of commissions.
