About the Role
As the Managing Director of Guy's and St. Thomas' Pharmaceuticals, you will lead our commercial offer, which includes a licensed NHS Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit and associated value-adding services. You will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, driving performance and ensuring success. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering a strategic commercial business plan with a net positive contribution, ensuring compliance with MHRA and other regulatory bodies, leading and developing senior managers, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement. You will also collaborate with NHS, academic, and commercial partners to expand and evolve the service to meet current and future market needs. Additionally, you will represent Guy's and St. Thomas' Pharmaceuticals at internal Trust committees and external national forums, influencing best practices and policy development in the NHS medicines manufacturing space.

Experience
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with a strong understanding of NHS operations and regulatory compliance.

Strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive performance and growth. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for working with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications
Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in pharmacy, business management, or a related field. Additional qualifications in regulatory affairs or quality assurance would be advantageous.
