As an MEP Assistant Design Engineer, you will coordinate MEP and CMS services across all project stages, ensuring integration with civil works. You will liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues and manage the MEP and CMS design for the HS2 track slab throughout the design and construction lifecycle.

Your role includes monitoring progress, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and client requirements, and coordinating CMS design delivery under the guidance of the Track Design Lead. You will work closely with designers, supply chain, clients, and contractors, attend meetings in Birmingham and/or London, and provide technical support for design and construction issues.

You will support identifying change, risk, and opportunities, study optimization, and liaise with commercial, planning, and design delivery teams. Additionally, you will assist with contract administration, close out track slab issues, review monitoring reports, and support progressive technical assurance during design, construction, and handover.
