About the Role
As a Neighbourhood Manager on a 9-month fixed-term contract until 30th April 2027, you will be the face of Peabody in your neighbourhoods, working closely with residents, partners and colleagues to ensure homes and communities are safe, well-managed and desirable places to live. This varied and rewarding role involves managing tenancy issues, supporting vulnerable residents, tackling local challenges and improving resident satisfaction through a visible and proactive neighbourhood management service. Key responsibilities include delivering a high-quality housing management service, building strong relationships with residents and partners, managing tenancy and neighbourhood issues such as safeguarding concerns, anti-social behaviour and tenancy breaches, and carrying out estate inspections, welcome visits and community engagement activities to help create safe and thriving communities.
Experience
Experience delivering excellent customer service within housing, community services or a similar customer-focused environment.
About you
Strong relationship-building, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage a varied workload and make sound decisions. Commitment to improving customer outcomes with an understanding of housing management, tenancy management or community engagement.
Qualifications
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of UK Housing Law relating to residential tenancies, housing qualifications such as CIH/CIOH, and community language skills.
