About the Role
Looking for more than just a job? Build a career in housing whilst learning on the job and gaining a nationally recognised qualification! At Peabody, we're passionate about helping people flourish and we're looking for a motivated and curious individual to join us as a Service Charge Specialist (Apprentice). Whether you're starting your career or looking to build on your existing skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialist area of housing.
As part of our Service Charge team, you'll help ensure residents, homeowners and commercial customers receive a high-quality service. You'll support the preparation of service charge budgets and year-end accounts, respond to resident and colleague enquiries by explaining charges clearly and professionally, analyse financial data and identify trends using Excel, build positive relationships with residents and colleagues across the business, learn about leases, tenancy agreements and service charge legislation, and support projects across the service charge cycle, gaining exposure to a wide range of activities and experiences.
Throughout the programme, you'll be supported to build your knowledge and confidence while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship qualification.
This is a 15-month apprenticeship programme combining practical experience with formal learning. Upon successful completion, you will have a permanent role with a clear progression pathway, supported by our Learning & Development team and a dedicated mentor. Benefits include 30 days’ annual holiday plus bank holidays, a flexible benefits scheme including family friendly benefits and access to a retail discounts portal, and up to 10% matched pension contribution.
