Havering, Close to Harold Wood Elizabeth Line station. Please note that this service does not have step free access.

Hours
37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday on a rota varying between 20:00 - 09:30 which includes 12.5 hour shifts with 1 hour unpaid break, approximately 3 shifts per week. Flexibility on hours may be required as per service needs.

Salary
£30,400 per annum

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Support Coach to join our new Independent Approved Premises (IAP) covering the night shift on a rolling rota. You will play a key role in supporting residents who have left prison and are based within a residential setting to reintegrate into the community. Your responsibilities will include developing tailored support plans that address individual needs to promote successful rehabilitation and reintegration. You will identify residents’ needs, goals, and skills, supporting and motivating them to achieve their potential. The service maintains a strong focus on public protection and effective risk management.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents and participants at all times
- Engaging with residents throughout the night, ensuring adherence to their license conditions, including planning activities such as movie nights and games nights
- Being a reliable team member on the night shift, completing handovers for day colleagues to ensure seamless service
- Building trusting professional relationships with residents through one-to-one sessions, group activities, and wellbeing check-ins
- Empowering residents to take control of their lives and meet personal goals

Requirements

Experience
Comfortable working within the criminal justice setting and supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs. Experience in building meaningful rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds is essential.
