About the Role
Historic England is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Research Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the coordination and delivery of research projects that contribute to the understanding and preservation of England’s historic environment. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage research activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful heritage work within a respected national organisation while working a flexible part-time schedule.
Experience
Previous experience in research coordination, project management, or a related field is desirable. Experience working within heritage, cultural, or academic environments is an advantage.
About you
You are highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. A passion for heritage and research is essential.
Qualifications
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject such as history, archaeology, heritage management, or social sciences is preferred but not essential. Demonstrable experience and skills will be considered.
