About the Role
Are you passionate about early years and SEND? Do you want a career in a wonderful nursery school, which is part of a small federation? Our federation philosophy for Early Education lies in a good balance between inclusive child-initiated learning and structured child-centred learning opportunities. Our inclusive, continuous provision inside and our wonderful garden and outdoor classrooms ensure that children make exceptional progress from the start. The nursery school has an excellent reputation for supporting children with special educational needs from birth to five years old.
Our belief is that innovative, inclusive early years teaching lies at the heart of everything we do. We are a hard-working team, where staff at all levels are encouraged to develop themselves and be the best they can be, in a supportive environment.
If you have the drive and high expectations to help create a truly ambitious inclusive learning environment, we would love to hear from you!
We can offer you:
- A supportive outstanding school where early years is our specialism
- The opportunity to work with early years specialists who take part in action research and share this through our training consortium
- A wonderful learning environment both indoors and outdoors
- A structured well-being programme
- The ability to network with other SENCOs in our federation and networks
This role would support someone looking to work part time. We can be flexible with the days you work but ideally, we would want someone who could work on a Tuesday and Wednesday and one other day or half day, if desired.
Start date: January 2027 or soon after
