Are you qualified to CIPD level 3 or working towards?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a People Operations Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.
This role is to cover maternity leave until February 2025.
A bit about the role:
As a People Operations Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for People Operations support, responsible for establishing and preserving strong relationships with internal colleagues, providing accurate and timely customer service, and resolving People transactions and administration queries. You will ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organization.
Some of the key results for the role include:
Provide a comprehensive People advice and administrative service by telephone, email, in writing or in person and use available People systems effectively to access relevant data to resolve customer issues.
Actively support the People Operations Manager in the identification and implementation of continuous service improvement initiatives within People Operations, Systems & Data e.g., suggesting enhancements to intranet guidance pages to reduce queries or improvements to working practices.
Update colleague records following organisational change. Ensure the scanning of documents relating to restructures e.g., letters, job descriptions, job evaluation forms, interview notes and other relevant colleague information.
Assist with compliance for Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) requirements for Peabody wide for the appointment of colleagues including renewals.
Protect colleague data by maintaining confidentiality based on GDPR norms and internal InfoSec policy.
You will be required to work in the Westminster Bridge Road office every Tuesday, and a second day in any Peabody office location including Westminster Bridge Road.
