About the Role
You will be joining the Finance and Business Development functions, supporting senior leadership teams across a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This area plays a critical role in guiding business performance, prioritising strategic initiatives and enabling effective decision-making. Working at the centre of these teams, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and a network of Personal Assistants to ensure seamless coordination, efficient communication and a consistently high standard of support.
As a Personal Assistant, you will provide professional, confidential support to Directors and their wider teams, helping to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activity and longer-term priorities. You will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings and proactively handle communications, ensuring information is prioritised and responded to effectively. You will also prepare agendas, collate pre-reads, take minutes and track actions to completion, enabling Directors to stay focused on key objectives.
Alongside this, you will produce presentations and reports, coordinate team activity such as events, away days and training sessions, and support financial administration including expenses, purchase orders and invoice processing. You will build strong relationships across the business, working with other PAs to coordinate schedules and provide cover where needed, while continuously identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve ways of working.
At Sainsbury's, you will experience a fast-moving FTSE business where your work has real impact. You will be trusted to get on with it, supported by a team that listens to your ideas and encourages you to try new things. The scale and complexity of the business means there is always something new to learn, and you will be supported every step of the way.
