About the Role
Dell Technologies' Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) builds the products that power the infrastructure, solutions, and data management our customers rely on at enterprise scale. Our teams design and develop hardware and software that connect infrastructure, accelerate computational workloads, integrate across the stack, protect data continuity, and deliver platforms, applications, and diagnostics used daily by customers worldwide.
Within ISG, innovation means challenging assumptions and reimagining how work gets done. Engineers define intent, author precise specifications, and orchestrate AI agents that execute at speed and scale. AI is embedded throughout our development process, enabling faster progress, quicker learning, and greater impact. However, the most important contribution remains uniquely human: deciding what to build, designing how it should work, and applying the judgment needed to earn our customers' trust.
We move quickly toward work that matters most, rewarding experimentation, encouraging bold thinking, and removing barriers so great ideas become reality faster. Our teams embrace a customer-first, first-to-market mindset, transforming rapid feedback into better products and outcomes. We seek builders who question the status quo, improve it, and occasionally rewrite it.
If you are energized by solving complex systems challenges, excited to work alongside AI to amplify your impact, and motivated by shaping the future rather than maintaining the past, you will find your place here. Join us and help build the future of enterprise technology.
The Engineering Technologist team spans applied research to advanced engineering, shaping ground-breaking products, materials, and processes. We assess competition, develop technology and product strategies, generate intellectual property, lead technology investigations, analyze industry capabilities, and recommend acquisitions or vendor partnerships. Our insights influence product architecture and definitions, working cross-functionally to ensure our products lead the way.
As a Platform Architect on our Engineering Technologist Team, you will develop long-term technology strategies informed by industry, marketing, development, manufacturing, procurement, and customer input. You will drive alignment internally and externally, build and maintain technical relationships with vendors, and ensure roadmap alignment through regular technology reviews.
Your responsibilities include developing AI compute and storage platforms, advancing the accelerator ecosystem from hardware and software perspectives, developing automation scripts for validation, configuration, and benchmarking, and participating in internal and industry forums. You will act as a point of escalation for critical development issues, lead strategic technical forums, generate intellectual property including invention disclosures, and provide expertise across multiple technologies and products.
This role offers the opportunity to impact multiple products and technologies, shaping future innovations and driving Dell’s leadership in enterprise technology.
