We assess competition, develop technology and product strategies, generate intellectual property, lead technology investigations, analyze industry capabilities, and recommend acquisitions or vendor partnerships. Our insights influence product architecture and definitions, collaborating across the business to ensure our products lead the way.

As a Network Architect on our Engineering Technologist Team, you will act as a senior technical authority for next-generation AI infrastructure, providing architectural leadership across customers, partners, and engineering teams. You will drive the strategy, design, and optimisation of large-scale AI environments spanning AI fabrics, accelerated compute, storage, networking, power, and cooling technologies. This is a highly influential individual contributor role focused on technical leadership, innovation, and architecture rather than people management.

Experience
- Deep expertise in AI and data center networking technologies, including Ethernet, InfiniBand, AI fabrics, switches, NICs, DPUs, optical networking, and large-scale fabric design.
- Strong understanding of network topologies and architectures optimized for AI training and inference environments, including data centre network and optical distribution design.
- Proven ability to translate concepts into production-ready solutions, balancing technical, business, customer, and stakeholder requirements.
- Knowledge of networking standards, protocols, and industry ecosystems, with established relationships or experience working with key networking suppliers and partners.
- Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills, with experience leading customer, partner, or cross-functional engineering programmes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience), with expertise in networking and AI fabrics.
- Approximately 10+ years of relevant industry experience; advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
- Experience assessing customer requirements and developing infrastructure blueprints for geographically distributed deployments.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
