About the Role
We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled Plumber to join Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, working within a social housing or local authority environment. You will undertake plumbing and other trade repairs and maintenance work, delivering high quality, ‘right first time’, and cost-effective building services to the business and its customers. Your role will include conducting work in accordance with current legislation, British Standards, Codes of Practice, safe systems of work, and recognised industrial standards, while minimizing damage to the fabric of the property.

Extended skills required may include ceramic tiling, basic carpentry, vinyl floor laying, and decorating. You will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card for work hours, along with full uniform, PPE, and the latest handheld technology.

Experience
Proven experience as a multi-skilled Plumber, ideally within social housing or local authority environments. Ability to undertake associated trade tasks within competency. NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent and long-term relevant trade experience are essential.
Extended skills in ceramic tiling, basic carpentry, vinyl floor laying, and decorating are desirable.

You must hold a valid manual UK driving licence with a minimum of one year significant driving experience. Please note that employment is subject to passing a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which will be funded by the organisation.

Qualifications
NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in plumbing or related trade is required.

Additional qualifications or skills in related trades such as tiling, carpentry, decorating, or vinyl floor laying are advantageous.
