About the Role
As a Procurement Business Partner, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering innovative procurement strategies that deliver value for money and support the Group’s priorities. You will work closely with stakeholders across all areas of the business to provide expert guidance on the procurement of goods, services, and works, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness at every stage. A key part of your role will be the development and implementation of category, procurement, and contract management strategies for high value and complex projects, while embedding essential policies and initiatives such as social value, sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, and ESG into procurement practice.
You will oversee the management and development of Procurement Managers and Officers, fostering a culture of collaboration, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will also take ownership of creating and embedding processes that strengthen the Procurement function, ensuring transparency, visibility, and strong governance across the Group’s third-party supply chain. Your leadership will enable us to identify and secure savings and benefits, deliver effective frameworks and digital markets, and maintain a robust pipeline of procurement activity that meets organisational needs.

Experience
- Proven experience in developing and delivering ambitious procurement strategies
- Skilled in operating within complex governance environments
- Knowledgeable about the Procurement Act 2023
- Experienced in managing high value and complex projects
- Professional accreditation through CIPS membership or substantial relevant experience

Qualifications
